TweetWhile the Denver Housing Authority’s 1099 Osage Street building, part of the South Lincoln/Mariposa Redevelopment project, won’t be completed until January 2012, it’s already making changes in the neighborhood. And on Friday, Guerrilla Garden will unveil a 5,000 square-foot mural at the corner of 11th Avenue and Osage Street.
“The building wasn’t built yet, so we had the task of creating a mural for a building that didn’t exist that’s ninety feet tall in a studio with ceilings that are just twenty feet tall,” says Jeremy Silas Ulibarri, better known as Jolt, the artist behind Guerilla Garden.
Jeah, Jolt!
TweetKidult has been fucking shit up all over the map. Back in May he left his mark on the storefront of Supreme NYC. Now you can grab a t-shirt of it on his site. Below is a gallery of some of the other mayhem Kidult has been causing.
The Los Angeles police department has temporarily halted Revok’s own graffiti endeavors, but with the help of so many artists from around the world he still remains in the spotlight. This new head cam video from Noah Banks, painted by Pose, draws additional attention to Revok’s jail sentence. Free Revok. via Juxtapoz.

We presume Banksy has done all right for himself, financially speaking, so maybe that’s an incentive to share a little. The British street artist has paid for admissions to the “Art in the Streets” exhibition on Mondays through August 8th when the show closes. In Banksy’s words, “I don’t think you should have to pay to look at graffiti. You should only pay if you want to get rid of it”. Agreed. Now you have no excuse not to go.

TweetWe feel as if you don’t know the reference to Tiger Blood in this giving week, there is a bit of “pop” research you need to do. But Alex Pardee has the CliffNotes for you here, because who hasn’t wanted to tell 300 million people that you have tiger blood? We told 3 people this morning, and it felt great.
“Winning. Duh.”
Alex Pardee and ZeroFriends just released (at, in their words, “WINNING” speed) a brand new signed (but not limited or numbered) print of a drawing that Alex did of his favorite lunatic (Ricky Vaughn everyone).
The print available in 2 sizes: the full Size of 17″ x 22,” and mini-win size of 8″ x 10″.
Also, visit Alex Pardee’s blog for a chance to win the original drawing. All you have to do is buy a print in the Zerofriends webstore to be entered. Because everyone who is tired of not saying their special should have a chance to win something from their little living rooms and small couches.
