Kanye West x Jay-Z_”Watch the Throne”
We are more than ready for this over at the office. Via Pitchfork: “At the beginning of this year, Kanye West stated that his collaborative LP with Jay-Z, Watch the Throne, was set for a March release. We’re about to close out June, and, well, Watch the Throne didn’t make that deadline. However, we may be getting to hear the record pretty soon– as in, next Monday, July 4.
Adding fuel to the fire, Kanye associate CyHi the Prynce stated in an interview on MTV’s Rap Fix Live yesterday that Watch the Throne is “ready to go. Right now, all the music and everything is done. But you know my guy — we over here with [Kanye], so ‘Ye is gonna add his last little pizzazz, and it’s going to be ready for you guys soon…You never know what they gonna do and how they gonna put it out. They might put it out yesterday.”
So, while you’re manning the barbecue and lighting firecrackers on Monday, be on the lookout. And in the meantime, listen to Jay and ‘Ye’s “H.A.M.” single over at the Watch the Throne Facebook page (you have to “like” the page to listen).”

Drake featuring Weezy & Jay Z_”Light Up” Rikers Remix

Drake’s debut album, Thank Me Later, is available in stores today and one of the most anticipated and talked about records over the past few weeks has been “Light Up” which features Jay-Z. Drake and his team have just liberated the “Rikers Remix” version of the song which features a full verse from Lil Wayne; considering Wayne’s incarceration the sound quality of his verse is a bit off but none the less this is a must listen. via: Nah Right.
